Narayana Business School’s beyond books learning strategy imbibes leadership, management, intellectual, and communication skills in our students. It trains them on time & stress management. At the end of the management course, we create in our students a professional outlook with the highest standard of corporate excellence. This makes Narayana Business School Ahmedabad’s PGDM program rank among the top PGDM courses in India.

Theory-based MBA is not useful anymore. The modern world needs professionals who can apply what they learnt, to real-world business situations. NBS PGDM Dual Specialization program acts as a bridge between the theoretical concept and their practical applications.

Narayana Business School’s PGDM program, ranked Top 10 in India, transforms your career. Over 670+ diverse organizations including government companies, unicorn startups, and many top national & foreign MNCs actively hire from NBS Ahmedabad. Citi Bank, PWC, E&Y, LG, Dabur, S&P Global, Coca-Cola, Accenture, Genpact, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Berger Paints, LG, Dabur, BYJU’s, VIVO, Godrej, HCL, Times of India, Motilal Oswal, PhonePe, and many other top brands are among NBS list of recruiters.

The best part is that NBS is among the first Management Colleges that most of these brands visit for their hiring needs. Hence, NBS placements are over long before other Top B-schools even start their placement season.

To lead a business, you need a broad knowledge base and skill set—and the ability to put all the pieces together. Develop the essential cross-functional perspective that prepares you to lead with vision, build a focused strategy, strengthen organizational structures and processes, and make the tough decisions that drive performance, sustainable growth, and lead to success.

NBS PGDM Dual Specialization program’s two years are divided into 6 trimesters. Each trimester has 9 subjects focused on concepts and live projects to get practical experience. The first year ends with a 3-month summer internship.

You will learn subjects in diverse streams such as Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, Operations and General Management. Plus, you will get industry-ready with live industry projects that train you in Data-Driven Decision making, Financial Statement Analysis, Research Projects using SPSS software, and R –Program for Business Analytics.

This practical experience is demanded repeatedly by top brands. Hence, students at NBS undergo live industry projects at MNCs like Dabur, LG Electronics, Bajaj Group, Future Group, etc. apart from the 3-month internship at the end of first year.

Our students also learn various value-added programs (Read: Details of value-added projects) that develop in-demand skills needed to excel in today’s corporate world.

PGDM Course Electives

The 2nd year of NBS PGDM course is all about practical application of core MBA concepts. Also, this year brings with it the crucial decision to choose your specializations.

NBS offers 16 elective subjects, designed by industry experts, in each term. These are core specialization subjects where students study the industry’s best practices, culture, and methodology in depth.

Dual specialization is the combination of any 2 domains from Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, and operations based on the student’s preference. Dual Specialization makes the student eligible for multiple streams of opportunities. Narayana Business School’s dual specialization is different than what most Top B-Schools offer. in terms of a major and a minor stream. At NBS Ahmedabad, you will study equal subjects of both specializations and will be considered as a specialist in both. For instance, if you choose Marketing and Finance as your specialization, you will be studying 8-subjects of Marketing and 8 subjects of Finance, giving equal weightage to both. At the end of 2nd year, you will also be doing a capstone project depending on your area of interest.

Classroom sessions are conducted from 10:00 am to 05:00 pm on weekdays and on weekends, students have live interactions with industry experts, trainers, and leaders.

This unique program structure & internationally acclaimed teaching Pedagogy helps NBS students outperform the globally recognized performance standards. Few, if any, PGDM/MBA colleges in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, or even India, follow this innovative style of experiential, learn by doing, beyond the books approach.
