Comparative Analysis of BBA and Integrated BBA Program

Hearty Congratulations to all students passing class 12th exams with flying colours! Here we try to clear the difference between normal BBA program and integrated BBA + MBA program. After clearing HSC maximum students are in the confused state about which course to take up for higher studies so that they are able to build up a successful career. They may select any degree course under family or peer pressure which may prove to be wrong.

The BBA program is a three-year undergraduate degree course offered in business administration. This course is aimed at training the students in managerial skills, develop entrepreneurial abilities, enhance leadership skills and give them a base for launching a successful career in the field of business administration. In BBA program eligibility criteria demand the students to clear 10+2 degree in any stream and must have scored at least 50% marks on an average.

With BBA degree you can get a job in the management field at entry-level in any company, but it would not give much growth unless you obtain an MBA degree. BBA program helps you to clear the interview round in comparison to students from other backgrounds. MBA course is a much-advanced course where you get to clear fundamentals about human resource management, management information systems, financial law, etc.

In the integrated BBA+MBA program the students get the chance to build their concepts about business administration and according to their interest choose a specific area of specialization. This course is about 5-years time duration. The first 3 initial years are dedicated to the learning of basic skills about management subjects, after that you need to select an area of specialization like finance, marketing or human resource. This would enhance job prospects.

The eligibility criteria are similar to the BBA program, with B-schools accepting students with HSC passed in any stream. The cut-off percentage is 50%. In integrated BBA program, an MBA degree would help the students fetch good jobs with higher pay packets in the job market. Here you are having a PG degree in the specialized field giving you more importance over the candidate with only a bachelor’s degree.

Thus the above discussion clearly shows that the integrated BBA+MBA program is much better in terms of knowledge and bright career prospects.
